Pekin Duck & Grill

This is my X number of visits to this restaurant. I would say that every time it would bring pleasant surprises to people whom I brought along. Besides the Peking grilled duck and grilled squid from the ala-carte menu, I particularly like the weekday set lunch which has variety of choices that you can select. Price is also reasonable with good portion for sharing. Shrimps with sweet peas were fresh and nicely cooked to perfection. Ambience is good and the service is very attentive (sometimes over). The outlet manager Taimor gave us suggestions to ensure we have a good selection of our dishes. The lemongrass jelly dessert was so refreshing after a meal. Price for the Chinese Tea is also reasonable regardless the type of the type of tea you select while other Chinese restaurants might charge different rate for different tea. Parking however is challenging in this area and only limited bays available outside restaurant due to many other F&B outlets along the street. I normally use grabbed car if going in small group. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant for the food quality, price and it is also Muslim friendly. Remember to make advance reservation especially if you go during weekends.

The food was good and the highlight of our experience was the excellent service by Amin. He was very attentive and considerate, and made the whole dining experience much more enjoyable. His friendly attitude and professionalism truly left a great impression on us.

Staff Faisal provided great service — attentive and friendly. The restaurant environment is nice as well. The only issue is that thea seating was a bit sunny. It would be perfect with better shade. Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience.

The best peking duck I’ve ever had in my whole life. After I ate that, I kept dreaming about it and will surely tell all of the people I know that I ate the best duck of all time in Malaysia. Yes, I am proud to find this Peking duck. I’m a peking duck lover so I go pretty hardcore on this one. Me and my boyfriend got the KOI set. Appetizers, the duck, the dessert were great! But please.. after I get all the best of both worlds from the duck, and then the vegetable serving which I don’t know what and the fried rice were such a buzz-kill… It’s a total no need at all, literally killed the climax of the duck. Both dishes that I mentioned were bland.. hope the chefs can do something about it to not disappoint customer after the great appetizer and duck. All the best luck!

Chance upon this opposite my hotel. The food was really great! The tofu was the best I ever eaten, it’s crispy and soft in the inside, very well cooked. My friend even said he don’t mind to come back KL just to eat the tofu. Peking duck was affordable and delicious. They had a special sauce that usual Peking duck doesn’t give so definitely worth the try. Their fried rice portion was really big and we table for 4 couldn’t finish it. But the flavour was great. A lot of seafood also. Don’t try the foie gras dumplings. The fillings had no taste and had a weird taste. Not the usual traditional dumpling you will expect. Overall still a great experience and food is superb!

I’m an avid Peking duck lover, and I must say this is the best in KL, at least the best one I can enjoy as a Muslim. The presentation was top-notch, the flavour excellent, and even the plain kuey teow had that delicious wok hei. Faisel was fantastic as well, taking great care of our table and giving excellent recommendations. Definitely coming back!

Oh my god, I love this place! The Peking duck is honestly the best I’ve ever had in my life. They bring out the whole duck, and it looks so special when they serve it. The skin is perfectly crispy, the meat tender and juicy, just perfection. The first serving comes with those thin rice wraps, green onions, and sauce so you can roll it yourself, and it’s absolutely delicious. Then they serve the second part of the duck as a soup, which was also really good, warm, flavorful, and comforting. We also ordered kway teow and some appetizers, and everything was fantastic. And they also have great wine The restaurant itself feels elegant but still comfortable. You don’t have to be overly formal; semi-casual is totally fine. The waiters were friendly, professional, and really attentive. Everything was just perfect. I would definitely come back again and again, and I highly recommend this place to everyone!

The food were amazing, the Pekin duck was juicy, fish was fresh and tender, fried rice had a lot of wok hei, and the prawn was surprisingly the best (our favourite) among the dishes. And I would like to thank you to every of the staff, especially Taimor for making the dinner and birthday celebration wonderful.
